As you all know, SOFsono and Journal of Special Operations Medicine (a.k.a. JSOM) have recently partnered to start a series of SOF-focused ultrasound education tidbits. And now we thought to partner with you, the SOF Medics!
- You are a SOF Medic from a NATO member state or Down Under;
- You have ever wished you had an ultrasound machine, while taking care of a patient AND/OR;
- You have wondered if that kind of technology would be of use to any particular patient…
then you are the kind of person we are looking for :-). Sounds super easy, doesn’t it? Well, we want you to partake in this endeavor, but we understand that you all have 17 other jobs to think about! We would like to hear from you about such potential SOFsono JSOM cases, given case-based education sticks best! Just mind the OPSEC rules:
- NO names
- NO dates
- NO locations
- NO units
- NOR any other identifying features!
Don’t hesitate to alter the story – after all it is not an AAR (After Action Report). Our main goal is education, and we focus on the clinical and operational aspects of ultrasound use in special operations medicine. We promise to actively support you in the case write-up process – you can count on this team!
